It made it easier for them to see the connection between ideas, concepts, helped them assimilate what prior knowledge they have, create new schema and relate it to the present time. It is also multi-sensory so it has helped developed their fine motor skills too. As the most of the children love to draw it makes them easy to remember what they have learnt. It adds more fun and variety to the otherwise routine practice of note taking and motivates the students to focus.

In Term 1, I used it English, Comprehension, Social Studies, History and other subjects and I saw engagement, critical thinking, collaboration and creativity. It became a part of students' learning day; they would always ask 'Are we going to do sketchnoting today?'. My SODs got so engaged with the lesson as well.
