We believe this poem is about a killer and possibly a school shooting because it talks about the high school being dead and they're locked up after dark, also about a breaking story on the news. it also states we always knew he'd he go free which means the killer doesn't get charged for it and someone is wrongfully accused. if the killer keeps thinking of his actions he won't be able to move on from it. we believe the main theme is guilt and remorse of a killer. the poem follows a AA,BB,CC,DD, ect.. rhyme scheme.
