When I first joined Usrah 1, I thought that it will be boring and burdensome. But actually Usrah 1 turnout to be really fun to attend and also beneficial for me. I get to know new people and learn many new knowledges about Islam and student life. Not to mention that the assignments that had been assigned to us were really fun to accomplish. I really hope IIUM will continue this Usrah subject because it is really beneficial for student in terms of socializing with new people and also sharing useful knowledges throughout their study in IIUM.

After such a positive experience in Usrah 1, I entered Usrah 2 with much higher expectations, and I wasn’t disappointed. If Usrah 1 was about breaking the ice, Usrah 2 was about improving our pratical in ibadah. The sessions felt less like a classroom and more like a safe space to discuss how to balance our spiritual goals with the pressures of university life. I’ve grown much closer to my group members, and the lessons we shared have genuinely helped me become more mindful of my actions. I truly believe these sessions are the 'soul' of the IIUM experience, and I hope the university keeps this tradition alive for years to come.
