In february of 2018 a man armed with an fuzil killed 17 people in a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. After the tragic episode many of the teenagers who survived the sooting began a national camping to try to end gun violence. Following a comaping by Gonzalez and his colleagues, Florida lawmakers passed the majory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safecy Act, wich raised te minium age for purchasing firearms in the state from 18 to 21.
