The project started with creating a dieline in Adobe Illustrator, measured to be 3 x 3 x 3.

Then, brainstorming began. I realized I had the orientation of the box wrong, so I took this idea and expanded on it in my next sketch.

Within my drawing program, I orientated the location of the dragon on the dieline.

Then, I printed out the box, built it, and sketched on it with a pen, took it back apart, and scanned it. I put this image back in to my drawing program, allowing me to trace my sketch and ensure the placement of the dragon was correct.
