"Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools." A quote by a French military and political leader by the name of Napolean Bonaparte. The French revolution was a period of time from 1789-1799. After the Estates General was called in and an unfair voting system was applied, the 3rd estate also known as the Nation Assembly desired change in the French government. They made a oath now known as the "Tenis Court Oath". Violence was accepted by the French people and the revolution became a mess. Buildings destroyed and tens of thousands of people were killed. There was even a period of time called "The Reign of Terror" where people were killed just for not being excited enough about the revolution. The 3 most significant causes for the events of the French Revolution were the inequalities in French Society, the weak leadership by King Louie, and food & econimic crisis going on.

Inequality with the French before the Revolution was very unfair with the king and the people. the king at the time was King Louis XVI and was known as a very bad leader. King Louis XVI would spend money as it were nothing, which quickly destroyed the French economy. most of the commoners would beg for food and fight for at least a bit of bread, just because King Louis XVI would spend it on his living situation and buildings. The people who started the Revolution was the third Estate, which was about 98% of the french population. The reason for this Revolution starting was the amount of unfairness and how unequal people were.

The french revolution, a dark time, an era of terror. Citizens begging for freedom in 1789 and all the way to 1799. King Louis XVI, the unprepared ruler at the time, began this bloodbath by being a weak leader. The society came to its conclusion of no longer wanting to follow a foolish king and instead take back their freedom. Change was coming for all. The causes of the French Revolution were voting systems being unfair, food and financial resources declining, a king not managing properly.

“Liberty, equality, fraternity, or death; - the last, much the easiest to bestow, O Guillotine!” ― Charles Dickens , A Tale of Two Cities. The French Revolution had started during 1789 and lasted until 1794, where people were upset with their own king/leader, King Louis XVI, because of his weak leadership skills so they decided they've had enough and turned sides from him. The French Revolution was based on these ideas where the French people wanted their freedom and human rights, to the point where they fought for it. Inequality was also a big problem in that time period because food was very limited from all the financial problems that were issued. Eventually, they earned the rights they wanted and creating a new and improved nation. So in this case, the three most significant cause of the French Revolution was based on the inequality of their society, the weak leadership of King Louis XVI, and their food and financial crisis.

Inspired by the thirteen colonies who recently broke away from the British monarchy in 1776. The people of France don't have to be controlled by weak leaders like King Louis the XVI. This jump started the Enlightenment. The three big "forces of change" that jump started this rage and inspiration of a revolution was, the weak leadership of King Louis XVI, these ideas of change, and the food and economic struggle of France caused by the king.
