「劍獅」是台南安平地區民宅特有的避邪物，劍獅又稱獅咬劍，從明鄭、清朝到日據時代，在安平當地每戶家門上都刻有劍獅圖騰，大多安置在門簷或照壁上。另外也很容易跟風獅爺搞混。

  •       朱紅色：代表富貴人家。

  •       青黑色：代表平民百姓。
