I honestly think this happens more than we realize, many creators mention a product and if the content does well millions of people will follow a link to check out said product. I found the NYT posts daily little comics and this one stopped me in my tracks. Frequently I wander down different routes in my head but hold myself back out of fear. Imagine where that branch could have gone? What new opportunities would open up? Where would I be if I followed the new path?
