On the other hand, there are several reasons why job security is believed to be more important than job satisfaction. Firstly, long-term workers will understand the job deeply then improve their ability and efficiency level. Therefore, this is a good opportunity for workers to achieve career goals such as promotion and wages increase. For instance, those important roles and positions in organizations are frequently chosen by the elderly because of their long-term devotion for companies and how much progress they gain. Moreover, when employees are assured of job security, they might not worry about their financial situations and easily plan their future schedule. Contrary to job hopping, a huge number of social relationships in the short term were substituted by these lifelong relationships and strong bonds if they became permanent fixtures in a company.

However, from my perspective, the aforementioned advantages are heavily eclipsed by the potential opportunities and career advancement brought by the job hopping culture. Changing jobs is beneficial as it offers different positions and working environments. This equips employees with the ability to adapt to the demanding and unpredictable job market today, which requires employees to have various sets of skills. In contrast, employees who are too loyal to their job may also become complacent, resistant to change, or unable to adapt to new technologies or work practices. Furthermore, if employees change their job, it could be an indication that they are inclined towards career advancement. This is because constantly seeking a new job often means that the individual is looking for better opportunities, higher salary, or more challenging work that can help them grow professionally. By switching jobs, they may be able to learn new skills, gain more experience, and expand their network, which can lead to better career prospects in the future.
