Paragraph 2 Description of your residence

I live in the city of Bogotá, I live with a cousin, We live in a family house made up of several apartments, my husband is also a policeman, we do not live together because he works in another city, I live in a two-story house, we have an apartment with two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room and laundry room.

Near my neighborhood is the Centro Mayor shopping center and the Tunal shopping center, nearby there are several pharmacies, themed restaurants, such as Mexican food, Argentine, crepes, waffles, there are ice cream parlors and greengrocers, for health we have the Tunal hospital nearby, and To get out of the routine, it is close to Cine Colombia.

Paragraph 3 Description of your routine

I get up at 5 in the morning breakfast at 07:30 in the morning, I like to eat eggs, bread and coffee for breakfast, I go to work at 8 in the morning and I usually go by motorcycle, it's faster than the bus, transmilenio or taxi, I leave for lunch at 1 in the afternoon, I like to take meat, fried plantains, vegetable salad and juice or water for lunch, I also take eleven for the afternoon, I leave work around 8 at night, I don't like to eat anything at night, I come to the apartment to study and do university work, sometimes I exercise, during the week I I go to bed very late, on weekends I sometimes work.

¿Revise con regularidad los mensajes enviados por mi tutor?

Frecuentemente reviso los mensajes enviados por mi tutor y también chequeo el foro para ver si me han hecho corrección a mis aportes.

 ¿Estudié y aprendí los temas sugeridos del E-Book? 

Leo y estudio cuidadosamente los ejercicios de E-Book, practicando y obteniendo nuevos temas que aumenten mi aprendizaje y conocimiento en el tema.

¿Participé en el foro dentro de los tiempos indicados?

Procuro enviar y hacer mis aportes en los tiempos establecidos por el Tutor, así mismo participo activamente en el mismo. 

¿En cuáles de los siguientes espacios de interacción y aprendizaje participé? Foro de esta tarea, Talleres de componente practico (TCP), Web conferencias, B-learning etc.? 

He participado en esta tarea de manera activa a través del foro this is me.

¿Qué aprendí de esta tarea? 

Aprendí nuevo vocabulario, como usar correctamente los conectores en inglés, la estructuración de párrafos y la manera correcta de hablar sobre mi rutina diaria, quien soy y a que me dedico. 


¿Es importante lo que estoy aprendiendo? ¿Por qué? 

Si es muy importante, teniendo en cuenta que la educación y el ámbito laboral actual requieren de saber un segundo idioma, así mismo pienso que es importante el manejo de la lengua inglesa en el ámbito personal ya que me será útil en el momento de enfrentarme con personas que manejen bien el idioma o cuando visite lugares donde el inglés es el idioma oficial.

¿Cómo aporta este aprendizaje a mi vida personal y profesional? 

El aporte de este aprendizaje es de manera significativa, ya que estoy empezando a conocer y aprender temas claros y específicos del idioma inglés, como su gramática, forma de escribir, pronunciar y leer, siento que esto fortalece mi crecimiento personal, laboral y profesional, ya que son parte dela vida diaria delos seres humanos.

Good afternoon, my name is Anngy Marcela Cristancho Gómez, I have been married for 7 months, I am from the municipality of Soatá Boyacá, but I currently live in the city of Bogotá, I am a patrol officer of the National Police, I am 28 years old, I am a student of Health Administration from the National Open and Distance University, I like to sleep and walk.
 

Talking about my city/town:

1. What are the main touristic places in your city or town? 

The municipality of Soata Boyacá is characterized for being a beautiful and lively town, there you can visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the different viewpoints that there are, the monument to the Virgin of Santa María.

There are several parks there and the atmosphere is always very familiar.

2.- What is the typical food in your city? 

Their typical or more traditional food is sweaty kid, beer is consumed a lot for lunch, they eat a lot of rice, cassava, potatoes, salad and pepitoria.

3.- What are the main ingredients of the typical food?

It is prepared with different seasonings, tomato, onion, color, cumin, pepper and is accompanied with potatoes and cassava.

4. What are the main celebrations in your city/town? 

Its main events or celebrations are the feast of the Virgen del Carmen, the Pacho Rondon cup, Easter and Christmas

5. What do people do in those celebrations? 

In this type of celebration people like to get together as a family, they have soccer matches or championships, bazaar-type integrations.

6. What activities can visitors do in your city or town? 

People always visit the different churches, go to the pool and to the viewpoints to see part of the Chicamocha Canyon.

Siempre realizo los ejercicios del E-Book con el fin de adquirir nuevos conocimientos para ponerlos en práctica en los demás ejercicios o tareas.

Participo de manera frecuente en el foro que corresponde y en los tiempos establecidos.

¿Preparé y dediqué suficiente tiempo para realizar una buena presentación oral en el video y/o en el encuentro sincrónico? 

Estudio y me preparo para realizar una excelente presentación quizás con errores, pero con la disposición de mejorar a diario el idioma.

¿Me siento más seguro de expresarme Oralmente en inglés?

Estos ejercicios de expresión oral me han gustado mucho, ya que ayudan a irle perdiendo el miedo al idioma y a expresarme con mayor facilidad.

¿Cómo aporta este aprendizaje a mi vida personal y profesional? 

Insisto que saber un segundo idioma aporta no solo en el ámbito laboral sino también profesional, abre nuevas oportunidades dentro y fuera del país, pienso que es demasiado importante el aprender inglés.
