Wider the clubs variety and event and more specific in their hobbies/ interest (for example. Japanese language club etc.) in that way student can meet a lot of friends that share the same interest

Could we create a puzzle space for students to work on puzzles, because it is easier to go up to someone you don’t know and have something to connect over. It could help build ‘soft’ connections on campus, so you may not be besties but you will recognise them around campus which can help that feeling of belonging

actively promote volunteer program that available around lincoln (example. salvation army) to the short term students. In that way they can engage a lot of people and build their confidence in communication as well as build their new experience.

Assist the integration of students to the administration side of academic life (computer literacy) through short fun filled workshops. Because if you live in fear of not understanding how things work and are too afraid to ask, you become more and more isolated.

Give out small prizes, similar to vouchers, to attract students.
