I think that they mean that someone is always watching all the negative things that Tom and Myrtle do? I am not sure though because if that was the case I feel like his eyes would watch EVERYONE but I do not think they pertain to Gatsby or Nick as much. I find it an easy read because it is easy to follow. My favorite character is Jordan Baker. She always seems so nonchalant and does not get herself mixed up in the drama everyone else finds themself in. One question I had about Jordan is, did her and Nick ever officially date? Or did they just both have a thing for each other but never made it official.
