The recycling industry generates employment opportunities in collection, processing, and manufacturing recycled materials.

The promotion of sustainability can be accomplished if everyone practiced sustainable habits. We also have to make each individual’s life better together as a team. We should not throw trash and businesses and institutions should invest in sustainable technologies to achieve this goal.

Gwen 5A

Plastic is bad for animals health especially for fish they might think it’s food and accidentally eat and swallow it. Recycling can help reduce this problem as it helps on animals staying healthy, communities staying clean and more! We can also practice on using recyclable plastic bags. Us humans too eat plastics, micro-plastics. Micro - plastics are tiny bits of plastics that are eaten by fishes and other creatures. We eat micro-plastics too since we eat fish we eat the micro - plastics inside of them.

rhianne 5B

Recycling plastic is good for the environment because as you know, plastic decompose for a long period of time for example, plastic water bottles stays for 450 years so it means is that it's still gonna be here 450 years later. Also it also ends up in the ocean and some creatures even have mistaken plastic for food. Do you know that sometimes we can eat plastic known as micro-plastic and it happens as it can migrate into food by common plastic-based food packaging that contains microplastics.

The promotion of sustainability can be achieved by reusing, reducing and recycling plastic before plastic ends up in the ocean to have a better and sustainable future without any pollution or even greenhouse gases. You can also grow more plants because plants can absorb carbon footprint which is a good thing.

The process of incineration generates carbon emissions that contribute to climate change.

2. Promotion sustainability helps create better environment in which we can thrive, while also conserving resources for future generations. By promoting reduce, reuse and recycle policy it will enhance social; justice and a high quality of life that can be enjoyed by the people in future.

Eloy 5A

Plastic dose not biodegrades. The majority of plastics are produced and disposed of on land, associated plastic waste to terrestrial environment are complex and leads to contamination of soil systems, freshwater environments and marine habitats. The marine wildlife is in great danger as the plastic pollution is increasing day by day and are harming many sea creatures especially the whales, manatees, turtles, seals, penguins, coral, and vaquita they are getting extinct because of consuming plastic thinking it is food or getting entangled in it.
