1. Biofuels are a fuel derived directly from living matter. Biofuels are energy sources made from living things, or the waste that living things produce. Supporters of biofuels argue that their use could significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions; while burning the fuels produces carbon dioxide, growing the plants or biomass removes carbon diozide from the atmosphere.

It is used for Countries around the world are using various kinds of biofuels. For decades, Brazil has turned sugarcane into ethanol, and some cars there can run on pure ethanol rather than as additive to fossil fuels. And biodiesel—a diesel-like fuel commonly made from palm oil—is generally available in Europe.

What are biofuels and how are they used?

A biofuel is a fuel that contains energy from geologically recent carbon fixation, such as plants.

Why are biofuels better than fossil fuels?

They are better because they do not add to the net amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. The crops used to produce the fuel already used CO2 during photosynthesis. So they do not decrease, or add to the total amount of CO2, just keep it the same.

Bio-fuels It is renewable Unlike fossil fuels, bio-fuels can be easily produced from raw agricultural materials. These facts ensure that the reservoir of fuel will never end, and that we can keep producing it, like we produce our food... since the reservoir is virtually unlimited, we can assure that as time goes by, the oil prices will increase duo to the increase in demand/production ratio, while the biofuels prices will decrease duo to the progress in agriculture science and techniques. In a few years from now, it is almost certain that biofuels prices will be much lower than fossil fuels, so the sooner you start using it, the better.
