From observing Edvard's paintings, he uses more vibrant and vivid colors. The figures in his painting have distorted forms, exaggerated expressions. The background of his paintings gives me an eerie and haunting feeling, like how he draws the swirling skies. Overall, his art focuses on individual emotions and states of the human mind. In my opinion, his brushstrokes are more expressive compared to Käthe, who draws more realistically.

Mischa is more interested in Edvard's paintings because they are more expressive and colorful compared to Kathe's art style. Kathe's subjects are more stiff and tired. She also uses a monochromatic color palette, which Mischa doesn't prefer.
