The First half of the book is much better than the second half, but the first half is so good that it kind of overshadows the second half. The huge twist towards the end of the book that's even introduced about 3/5 of the way through the novel was pretty crazy. The first half is considerably slow, but the author does an amazing job keeping it interesting at the same time. On the other hand, the second half is very fast paced, but not all that interesting.
