         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) Modern-day Slavery<br>2) Today approximately 20.9&nbsp; million people are trapped in some sort of slavery<br>3) 136/196 countries in the world criminalized human trafficking<br>4) Human trafficking exists in many forms today, for example:<br>- Domestic servitude<br>- Child labour<br>- Sex trafficking&nbsp;<br>5) Some traffickers use sex trafficking victims to recruit or transport other victims.</div><div>6) Victims suffer from long-lasting physical and phycholoical trauma, drug addiction and diseases like HIV/Aids<br>7) Of all slaves, more than a quarter are children<br>8) 55% of the victims of human trafficking are women and girls<br>9) Runaway and homeless youth are particulary at risk of trafficking.<strong><em><br></em></strong>10) Human trafficking is the second lagerst international crime.
