         <description><![CDATA[<div>In case 1, the boy drown in warm water, tho cause enzymes in the body to be more active, thus when enzymes are more active, it increase the rate of respiration, using more oxygen in the body at a faster rate<br>In case 2 however, the women’s body temperature lowered to 13.7 Celsius.          <description><![CDATA[<div>In Case 2, due to the low temperature of the woman’s body, the Enymes becomes inactive thus chemical reactions in the body becomes slow thus lesser oxygen is being used therefore there was oxygen left for the brain cells thus allowing her brain to survive for 3 hours thus enabling her to survive while in case 1, the boy’s temperature remains unchanged after being underwater thus chemical processes continues thus using a large amount of oxygen, therefore not having oxygen left for her brain cells causing him to die within 5 minutes.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Michelle as 2 year old toddler is smaller in size therefore as a larger surface area to volume ratio than Anna. Michelle’s body cooled down significantly faster as she loses heat to the surrounding faster thus chemical processes such as respiration slows down therefore lesser oxygen is being used for them thus being able to preserve more oxygen for her brain than Anna thus when she was being reheated, she gained heat faster than Anna and the brain was damaged lesser due to the larger amount of oxygen present in the brain causing a faster recovery for Michelle.</div>]]></description>
