Building a Prosthetic Limb

SWBAT plan and carry out an investigation to observe the causes of motion of an object IOT show the effects that balanced and unbalanced forces have motion of objects.

Students will build a prosthetic hand or leg, that is able to kick or grasp a small ball.

Prior to the activity, students will watch Rio's story on Youtube and complete the see, think, wonder chart.

Create a presentation on the appearance of each moon phase. The presentation should include a slide on "What I used to think about the moon phases, but now I think". There should be at least 2 what I used to think, but now I think statements.

SWBAT develop and use models representing the positions of the sun, earth, and moon IOT demonstrate resulting eclipses, position of constellations, and the appearance of the moon.

Students can use Canva, Google Slides, Prezi, or Microsoft PowerPoint to create their presentations.
