Newsela is awesome at seeing what grade level students are reading at. The Lexile score adjusts based on the short multiple choice quizzes each article has attached to it. My school uses this in each subject area. It's worth checking into :)

I have around 133 students who come through my classroom. This helps me keep track of those who didn't get the concept.

I use Google Forms most often to collect informal data and give short quizzes. My tests are constructed from old AP exam questions, so I grade them based on rubrics from College Board. This helps my students know how much evidence and explanation is expected when they get to the end of the year.

DIBELS, Kahoot, running records, paper pencil test, anecdotal notes, scantron, formative & summative assessments and teacher observations. I think it's important to have a variety of assessments. It's important to use these assessments to drive your instruction.

Google forms are great because it throws all of the students' responses in a spreadsheet. Then I like to use Flubaroo to grade it and get a snapshot. I also like Kahoot, Go Formative, and Quizizz. Our district uses Scantron Achievement and Performance series. They just purchased Scantron Analytics to help us analyze the data.
