The Early Explorers get a lot of details for the map makers to create maps. They needed a map to go on a journey. Also, once explorers reached a new land, they immediately planted a flag to claim that land because their kings and queens believed that gaining more land will strengthen their land. In the 1500, explorers from Europe were Christians. I learned that Europeans made their most valuable coins from metals. I also learned that lots of explorers brought back new foods that will help them with their country.
