In this lesson I learned a lot of new things when writing, some new stratergies including the step-by-step writing to make it a logical process, some tips to make our writing clearer such as good grammar, word choice, tone, style, etc. Finally, I think the most important stage of the writing process is to revise because you found out which mistakes you did and have the chance to correct them. For some people, it's not necessary to follow some steps like the prewriting or drafting while for others all steps are important but, I think the revising and editing ones are a must for everyone before publishing.

A new strategy I will try implementing more in my writing process is revising. It is really important to read the text to my self and see how different structures and ideas can change the way your text turns out.

By this activities I could understand better each step of the writing process, and how all of them lead to good results. I have also understood the importance of planning your thoughts and ideas before writing a text. This will make all the other steps easier as your text will already be organized and finishing your final draft will be easier.

During this lesson I learnt lots of new strategies but the one that stuck out the most was using better punctuation, because this can change how your writing is perceived as well as creating a better and cohesive text. I feel I am more prepared and have a better understanding of the writing process, making it easier to write even though I thought it was useless . Lastly in my opinion the stage i find most important is prewriting, this can help you prevent writers block and have a better flow in your text.

1. What is one new strategy from this lesson that you will try the next time you write a text?

Next time I write, I will pay extra attention to the outline and how I prepare for my writting in order for it to be more clear and organised, while having a nice flow of ideas. Next time I will also pay more attention to edit and revise the text in different stages.

2. How has your understanding of the writing process changed?

I understood that writting a text is much more than the final draft, it inlcudes an outline, first daft, peer correction, editing and more steps which make a text succesful.

3. What stage of the writing process do you now feel is the most important, and why?

In my opinion the outline is one of the most important steps, becuase if you don't a clear plan of what your text will be containing it's impossible to have a coherent text with a nice flow of ideas. However, editing and revising are also fundamental steps to catch mistakes and correct grammar so that your text is logical and makes sense.

I learnt the steps of the writing process, which will be very helpful for me since now I know the importance of planning, and how to get out of a writing slump (plot down all your ideas without worrying to much about sentence structure, grammar, sentence coherence, and spelling since you can correct this in a later step).

2. My understanding of the writing process has changed a lot since know that I know all of the steps I can write with a better order and structure, there are steps for a reason, so it motivates me to follow them.

3.

1) The next time I write an essay I will absolutely create an more complete and better outline for my text. This is because I’ve realize that outline are the best way to organize our idea, for them to be coherent

2) my understanding of the writing process has change in the way of realizing that while we write an essay, the process it’s more than just writing words and thinking on what too add in the text. Writing is a set of step that are use for coherence and spreading ideas efficiently

3) Possibly revising, because in this step we may observe all our ideas united in one place. Here we may see if all our ideas are coherent together or not

I learned that we can move beyond just sticking to the basic idea of a topic. Instead, I should try to develop my ideas more deeply and give them stronger support. This will help me write in a way that feels less simple and more complete.
