The most interesting part of Chapter 3 of Ramayana was pages 92-97. "Battle of Lanka" is important and interesting because it builds tension between Rama and Ravana, leading to a suspenseful climax of Rama and Ravana facing off in one final duel.

Oceans apart is the most important cha[ter to progress the story because it allows them to start fighting otherwise they would never get to fight ravana or get sita back. This is also the threshold guardian as the ocean which is a important part of the heroes journey

I think "Oceans Apart" is the most important because if they had never crossed the ocean, the Battle of Lanka would never have happened, and if it had never happened, they would never have saved Sita. If they never saved Sita then the story would have ended earlier than it should have.

Ramas could not swim, so they wrote Rama's name on rocks to create a bridge. This part is the ordeal and the approach. They are approaching Ravana castle but they can't cross the ocean. There is a big problem which is the ordeal.

Oceans Apart, Because it is showing where bears are trying to cross an ocean to get to Ravana but they figured out that if they wrote down Rama's name on a rock and put it on the water it would float so which helped them get to Ravana for a fight.

The part that moved the plot forward was when Hanuman attacked Ravana's city. This moved the plot forward because Ravana was vexed and decided to fight back. If Hanuman had not attacked Ravana's capital city, Ravana would not have been so angry and driven to get revenge immediately, this could have delayed the war between Rama and Ravana and most of the action would not have happened until later on in Ramayana.

I think that the most necessary part of act 3 was the chapter "Mountain of Medicine." In this chapter, Rama begins the ordeal of his hero's jouney. This is a crucial part of the hero's journey, as it is the biggest battle. This event sets the stage for the following parts of the Rama's hero's journey and pushes the story foward.
