I felt like Nick's relationship with the students was more a peer relationship, than therapist-student. He didn't really criticise the students actions in the session, but just really tried to explain why he pointed out certain things and what the students did really well in the therapy session with the client. He also asked the student to contribute to the session by asking her what went well.

I thought it was good that Nick helped position the client during the session because it reminded the students about the importance of positioning for occupational performance.
I also thought he was supportive, that he did not criticise the students and allowed them to discuss their performance.
I like to learn this way - getting a mix of immediate feedback and be able to discuss my performance post session.

I thought it was great that Nick adjusted the clients position in a way that didn't make the students feel intimidated nor did it seem to make the client uncomfortable or uneasy. Depending on how independent the students are, it may have been beneficial for Nick to stay in the room while they are doing the assessment/therapy. Nick posed good questions such as goals, how the session went ect.
He gave positive feedback about the actions they took in terms of fatigue.
He gave them the opportunity to have input for the supervision session and then gave them some information to come back with too.

Nick provided a comfortable environment in which the students could reflect on their performance right after their session. Although it was a brief feedback session, it would have been great to see Nick expand on the students concerns, by developing specific goals in order to achieve this. Nick provided a clear direction at the end for the students to work on for the next S/V session which was good to see.

Nick was good at facilitating the students learning. He asked an open question, "How do you think it went?" of the students to encourage them to reflected on the session. Nick also asked the students what they wanted to discuss in next supervision session but also asked them to prepare to reflect on the joint sessions they had been involved with. Nick's body language was open and he gave both positve feedback, utterances to show listening and encourage students to expand on what they were saying. Sitting around the table and everyone having access to pen and paper. With minimal information on the context and Nick's relationship with David I am unsure of appropriateness of Nick repositioning David physically rather than verbally prompting him to correct his posture.

Began asking how the students get they went enabling them to reflect on own performance first identifying any areas they felt went well or could use improvement. By adjusting client himself, it allowed feedback to be given in a non-intrusive way that student evidently took on board in the reflection. He began discussing positives and continued to primarily let the conversation be student led and made comments where necessary. At the end gave constructive feedback on where the direction of the next session should go. Overall very encouraging and supportive of the students reflection session.
