Jewish people were the main targets of the Kristallnacht resulting in the deaths of over 30,000 Jews. Yitzhak S. Herz claims that the Kristallnacht wreaked havoc in the Dinslaken Orphanage by marching soldiers into the vicinity to destroy houses, properties, and even torturing the children. Our primary source proves that those who were affected by the Kristallnacht weren't taken into consideration as all people, regardless of sex or age, were targeted. Many Europeans (especially Jews) realized the dangers and violence that political anti-Semitism would lead to.
