I want to wish you a Merry Christmas! I hope you’ll have an amazing Xmas filled with loads of love, presents and good food!

This will be my first time celebrating Xmas in my own home, which is in a small village called De Rijp, it’s close to Amsterdam.

They have a tradition here in the village where they turn the whole village into a village from back in the days. They do this once every 2 years, about 2 weeks before Christmas. People dress up how they used to a couple 100 years ago, the village looks like how it used to, and there’s this Christmas market. This year they sadly won’t host it, but next year it’ll be there again☺️ Me and my family have been to that market a couple of times now, but I can’t wait for next year, to be able to go as a citizen of this village☺️ And to be able to show my family around this time! It’s called Midwinterfest De Rijp.
