Who Am I?

I am currently a rising senior at Baltimore City College, and an intern at Bloomberg Arts Internship. I love horror, action, and comedy. My art typically features less traditional themes, I like to make things that reflect my interests such as monsters, horror, or other things I enjoy at that time.

Me and my team won a financial literacy game of Jeopardy, Throughout the summer BAI has been teaching us life skills through engaging and informative lessons! Thank you to the amazing BAI Staff and additional visitors that made this possible!

Graffiti Alley

One of my favorite field trips we took was going to graffiti alley, I got to make lots of silly art pieces and spent time with my mentor group who are lovely!

Orientation Week

Orientation week was one of the most intense, but wonderful weeks of my life. I got to meet so many amazing people, and learned so much more about my peers. At first it was really hard to open up but once I did, I discovered it was the best choice I could've made. From orientation week, to my last week, I have met so many wonderful, kind people, and I am so grateful to have been a part of BAI.

We had writing coaches who assisted us with our writing work, delving into where our writing styles and techniques met and what techniques we could add to improve our pieces.

What college prep did we do?

We did a bunch of college research, and financial literacy research to determine where we wanted to go with our college journey's, if we wanted to pursue college.

During my internship I worked with Everyman and BAI to learn life skills, and how to put myself out there, I learned a lot from my writing coaches, my mentors, the volunteers.

At the beginning of the program we were asked to make a piece of art describing a value we had, mine was to be helpful, and the piece featured a bunch of different limbs sewn together to lift up the world helpful. This symbolizes working together, and how helping one another can bring people together.
