My family likes to head to Florida for either February or April vacation. If we fly, my boys have to sit in their own seat in a car seat. That doubles the cost of the trip compared with them just sitting in my wife and my laps. The alternative is to drive: a longer journey but the cost doesn't go up for additional passengers in our car. Keep in mind, because I teach, there is no escaping early to avoid the outrageous cost of flights. What would you do in this situation: fly or drive?
