I think my number one thing is it help me to stay organize and be more productive. With the use of Canvas it frees my time by grading papers/test which allows me to spend more time with the students. I can also easily manage all of my classes from anyplace at any time. 

The next thing I like is the ability to use simulators, games and Apps to enhance the learning environment. With the use of simulators my student are able to see and troubleshoot equipment that would be impractical to have in the classroom. The use of games and apps as a learning tool, which helps the students to be more engaged with the topics at hand. 

And finally the ability to research any piece of equipment, I don’t need an entire library to house all the reference book need for my field.

When I started in my trade I carried loads of files and books in my mobile office and had to search through it all to find what I needed. That is, break the class meeting time into "segments", where segments consist of a "small lecture", followed by a "lab time". Then keep proceeding through the segments one at a time. In my teaching practice, technology allows me to easily use vibrant and interactive visuals to engage different learning styles. 
Technology makes research, communication and collaboration easily achievable.
