Delegating responsibility to other members of staff
- Review of broadband plan - to minimise working from home. Leaving laptop at work to ensure she doesn't take work home with her
- Discussions around her occupational identity - roles of being a mother etc

We have highlighted the main priorities for Carol.

What might you consider advising in the early days of return?
- regular breaks at work (e.g. alarm/reminders on computer screen to take break, computer screen turns off after certain amount of time to signal break time)
- reduced work hours to lessen time sat at desk (increase hours and number of days a week at work gradually)
- reduced workload e.g. delegate to other staff members, not taking work home to finish
- regular contact with occupational health
- protected time to attend a drop-in session for herself to feel supported (like what she does for staff)
- time to organise her desk space before returning to work (swap desks with one that has a telephone on the right or purchase an extension lead for her current desk)
- agree with manager/employer to be allowed to leave work to attend physio appointments if she can only arrange for them to be during shift times due to appointment slot limitations
