Should the photos of a woman drowning be published? Inhumane, unethical - respect for the woman, her family as well as your audience reading the article

First instinct of photographer was to snap photo instead of rescue the woman

Privacy is an important topic in mass media

An individual's right to personally control public information communicated about him or her

Privacy is an important value

Privacy should not be violated simply, because the public is curious

A lot of journalists face the dilemma of privacy of the stakes or those who are related to the article.
A politician resigns to protect a damaging secret about his personal life. Should you expose his secret even though he is no longer a public figure?

Individuals have the right to privacy but the public also has the right to know.

Most governments recognize the need to protect the privacy of their citizens, to some degree at least.

Public figures, celebrities, authoritative figure

Sometimes you can provide a citizen with information he or she seeks without allowing him or her to look at confidential portions of records. You can do this by reading a record yourself and giving the person information verbally or by photocopying the record and blocking out confidential portions.

Dilemma:

Is publishing a photo of a dead young boy a form of exploiting grief or not?

If we cannot bring emotion to the news pages, then we can rarely tell a story because in the end, facts are not enough to tell sorrow and joy.

2. as a reporter, is it a right thing to help the victim of the incident or to take good footage
