 다음에는 베이킹이 아닌 다른 분야를 체험해보고 싶다!]]> 2021-05-22 12:18:33 UTC https://padlet.com/cactustory/rwrle3f27xz9wkm6/wish/1549998415 20210864 https://padlet.com/cactustory/rwrle3f27xz9wkm6/wish/1550211480 1.활동내용: 논살림 협동조합에서 강사분을 직접 모셔 벼의 한살이에 대하여 배워보았다. 벼의 기원, 종류부터 자라나는 과정, 특징, 다 자란 모습까지 ppt를 통해 알려주셨다. 그 다음은 벼 심는법을 배운 후 직접 해 보았다. 소금물에 벼를 넣고 심기에 적절한(가라앉은) 벼만 골라 물에 헹군 후 소독을 위해 60도 정도의 물에 십분간 불렸다. 다시 찬물에 십분간 불리는 동안 사각형의 넓고 얇은 상자를 흙으로 채웠다. 물로 흙을 적시고 씨앗(벼)을 넣고 흙으로 덮었다. 물을 주고 하루 불린 씨앗과 불리지 않은 씨앗을 구분하기 위해 이름을 쓰고 밖에 내놓았다.
2. 소감: 그저 씨앗을 심기만 할 줄 알았는데 주변 감사한 분들의 도움으로 한층 더 깊게 배울 수 있어서 너무 좋은 시간이었다. 특히 벼가 다 익기 전 낮에는 벌어졌다가 금방 닫히며 수술이 밖으로 나오는것이 신기했다. 만약 강사분께서 가르쳐 주시지 않았더라면 씨앗을 그냥 흙에 넣었을것인데 그 전처리 과정을 통하여 우리가 매일 먹는 쌀에 엄청난 정성이 들어간다는것 또한 알게되었다. 농사에 관심이 많았던 터라 정말 뜻깊은 시간이었다.

자포니카 쌀의 기원이 우리나라였다는 것이 제일 기억에 남는다! 우리 일상 가까이에서 계속 함께해왔고, 앞으로의 인생도 함께할 쌀에 대해 모르는 것이 많았다는 것을 깨달았다. 직접 흙을 만지고 고르고 쌀을 심어보니 더 와닿았던 것 같다. 앞으로 쌀이 성장하는 과정을 지켜볼 것이 기대된다!

::소감::
우리가 제일 많이 먹는 쌀에 대해 쌀의 기원부터 심는 것까지 자세하게 알게 되어서 색다른 경험이었고 유익한 시간이었다. 내가 직접 심어보니까 보람을 느꼈다. 쌀을 심는 과정이 생각보다 번거로워서 쌀이 쉽게 자라는 게 아니구나 라는 것을 생각하게 되었고 수확하기까지 많은 노력이 들어간다는 것을 깨닫게 되고 감사하게 생각해야겠다고 다시 한번 쌀의 중요성을 알게 되었다. 나 또한 농부가 된 느낌이었다 ㅎㅎㅎ .
