The article clearly points out the advantages and disadvantages of synchronous and asynchronous. The advantage of synchronous is students can ask questions immediately when they face difficulty and also get feedback from the teacher at the same time. However, the disadvantage of synchronous is that students cannot pause the online course to think about the content. If they are not sure about something, they are unable to go back to the previous course. In contrast , this is the advantage of asynchronous. Students can pause the lesson and digest the session content. And the disadvantage of asynchronous students might feel less connected with the instructor. 

Opinion:

I think I prefer synchronous more than asynchronous because I am easily distracted. If I can take a synchronous lesson and connect with my instructor, it is better for me to focus on the session. Also, the asynchronous always makes me want to speed up or fast forward due to my lack of patience.

Question:

1. Not every person in the world has a computer or Internet. There might be some people who can’t afford electronic devices. In the future, if we totally turn to online learning, do those people have the right to education?

2. It is difficult to avoid students cheating on the online course because the instructor cannot directly know if students are cheating outside the camera. How can we deal with this situation?

I really appreciate flipped classroom. In this class(Online Teaching), Professor 利德 always give us several articles and videos previously. We can preview before class, and discuss with classmates and teachers instead of reading articles. It really save much time and make us think and share our opinion. So I recommend flipped classroom very much.

1.Flipped classroom may encourage some teachers to be lazy. They put videos or textbooks that are not made by themselves online for students to learn, and let students discuss on their own in class, resulting in students not being able to learn knowledge from the teacher. Will this situation lead to teachers are no longer needed in this world?

2.What if some students don't preview materials?
