         <description><![CDATA[<div>Once the Incas began expanding their empire in 1438. But when they were attacked by neighboring Chancas.  Every citizen fled Cuzco. Except one person named Yupanqui, he stayed behind held an army to fight against the Chancas. after the defeat of the Chancas, Yupanqui, took the throne and took the name Pachacuti, ( earthshaker). The new ruler made the Inca the strongiest group in the area.</div>]]></description>

They didin't have to play taxes, and the men had the right to marry more than one wife same at the Sapa Inca. But all Nobles were not all of equal rank. Their were three main classes of nobels Their  Capac Incas they were considered relatives of the emperor and the Hahua, nobles who did not share the same the royal blood as the emperor and the Curacas who were leaders of people .</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Most people in Inca Empire were commoners. They worked as farmers and herders. The Inca did not practice slavery but they did require commomers for the government. The men did jobs like buliding roads and the women might wight weave cloth. But the Inca farmers grew a variety of crops like squash, peppers, beans peanuts and 20 types of coren and 200 types of potatos.</div>]]></description>

The incas also believed that certin sacred objects and places called Huacas.  One thing the Incas did was the chosen women were each year the goverment officials visited all the towns in the empire to find the most beautiful, graceful, and talented girls between the age of 8 and 10. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>when most Incas were born into ayllus, an ayllus is groups of families made up the ayllus. The children of commoners learned about their there responsibilities at a young age and as the grew. Older girls too care of babies, fetched water, cooked, made clothing, and learned to weave. For the boys they looked after the animals and helped in the fields.  Young men and women remained home till they are married . Women only married at age 16 and men at 20.</div>]]></description>
