The majority of individuals are indoctrinated by their society or family; few deliberately pick their faith. In addition to uniting people and offering a diversion from everyday problems, religion can also give some individuals the impression that their luck is better because they believe that God is on their side. In terms of politics, religion has an impact on societies and nations, and in many countries worldwide, religion plays a major factor in politics, often giving electoral candidates more credibility of they follow the majority religion of the nation. Faith unites people from different countries, forges allies, and frequently averts war between countries that practise the same religion.

It is hard to become a saint because you need to be dead, you need to be holy, and you need to be in heaven with god. Being holy is quite hard and no matter how hard you try, you can’t just be holy because you need to have a connection with god or the divine, and need to be separated from ordinary people. Also, many saints die extremely painful deaths, such as being hanged and quartered, being drowned, being stoned, and being burned alive. But, there are over 10,000 saints at present day, which really puts in perspective what people will do for religion.

Their leader was Siddartha Gautama, who encountered an old man, an ill man, a corpse, and an ascetic, which made him believe that everyone will suffer at the end of their lives. So, he taught others about comprehending the truth of the world around them. He was a normal person, and claimed that he did not take any inspiration or external powers from any Gods. At first, he walked around by foot, spreading his message that he truly believed. Not only would he tell others, but he would get them to convince even more people, rather than just simply believing him and moving on. After time, Siddhartha Gautama got monks to go around convincing even more people, and eventually the belief started expanding further towards eastern Asian lands such as Thailand and Indonesia regions. Siddhartha Gautama worked extremely hard to spread his knowledge, and was all based on his own effort and hard work.

Believing in the Baha’i faith can be very consequential in a Muslim majority country. The Baha’i faith was founded in Iran in the 19th century, at the time there was a shaw, and there were very few laws regarding the Baha’i Faith, but in recent times Baha’is have been executed for their beliefs, and both Sunni and Shia Muslim governments believe the Baha’i Faith to be heretical. Many thousands of Baha’is have been killed living in Iran, over 20,000 of the 400,000 Baha’is are dead. Living as a Baha’i in a Muslim majority country is never fun, nor is it a joke because of its large punishments.

Being Jewish has many different parts to it such as daily practices and beliefs, but there are three main beliefs: Monotheism, Identity, and Covenant. Monotheism is the belief that there is only one god. The Jewish practice of Identity is that you have to believe in your identity as a Jew, and have a connection to your community (It should be noted that one's Jewish identity is regardless of others' perceptions.) The Covenant refers to an agreement between God and Abraham, the father of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The agreement said God would provide Abraham and his offspring, which would become the Jews, with shelter and territory, but they had to walk with God's order and circumcise themselves as a mark of the covenant.
