I edited it by changing the clarity and the textures and I lowered the exposure.

It's a nice and sophisticated image without showing much of the car, and is trying to raise the interest in the viewer to see more of the car.

I love this photo so much because its just so colorful. Not too long ago I was binging old movies made by Disney, I watched Rapunzel and my mind went to this photo. It reminded me so much of the flower that was a prized possession in the movie. If they ever make Rapunzel a move with real people I hope they create the flower similar to this! This photo is so pretty to me and reminds me of so much. (Fun fact: You CAN eat dandelions as long as you cook and clean them properly.)

I took it in Virginia on the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway while I was on a road trip with my brother. When I began to edit it started to look most like it became a painting and so I left it that way. the photo looks like it is a painted dream land and I thought it was very cool.

This is my favorite photograph from the entire year; Product Photography, working with Knockaround. This project was very fun but also challenging as product photograph is very precise as you can't have any glare on your product, dust, etc. I took this photo by using a light box and certain angles to get each detail of the sunglasses. What I did to edit this photograph in Lightroom was making the details stand out more(Knockaround label), bringing up the 'green' vibrance more to bring out the frame color-sage green and using the "smoothness" option to make the lens smooth and clear. I then opened it in photoshop to auto tone the image, to make it brighter. What I like about this photograph was being able to create a compelling image for myself and my audience. As well as being able to photograph a product that is challenging. I am happy with how this image came out, as well as how satisfied Knockaround was with my image.

For this Padlet for the "Year End Gallery 2022-2023", This photo is what I think the best photo that I ever had in our photography class. I chose this photo because this is the result of all the things that I have learned in taking photos, editing in photoshop, and by just being creative. The way that I edited this photo was I just played with the layer mask, adjust the brightness, and just put a lot of elements that would make my photo look like it is an actual portal that was floating in mid air. This photo is my project for "Floats" which I enjoyed very much! I used all the knowledge that I have for photo manipulation to give justice to my imaginations and to make my inner child happy with the results knowing that I can turn my imaginations into a reality in a sense of editing any fantasy scenarios, especially I love the dark part of the multiverses theories.

My friend and I were doing multiple exposure when I saw an RBV logo, and decided to take a photo of it along with him throwing up the horns. I also like how he is perfectly centered in the longhorn logo along with him throwing up the horns where the horns are on the longhorn. Overall, just a charmingly elegant piece of photography art to represent the class of 2024. This competent mastery piece of artwork shows the energy of the longhorn flowing through the students and developing the students into dynamic prodigies who will triumph in life and every situation and adversity life puts them through. This truly illustrates the proposal of students embodying the longhorn way and representing Larry the Longhorn.

What I did to manipulate the look to this photo to make it unique and to my liking was messing round with the contrast and vibrance and saturation of the photo. I like it specifically because of how clear the photo is and how crisp it is. I also like how the colors stand out and make the dog look more colorful and vibrant.

I have a lot of photos that I like, but I feel like this one is the most simple one. I like it because of its colors, the orange and blue give a certain contrast that combines well with the overall picture. I altered the orange that was originally on the flower to unsaturated it, yet at the same time add more color to it which produces a soft orange. The blue in the background was also altered to give it a soft look, and the green from the trees was switched to a brownish/orange color.

I felt that this was one of my best photos this semester because of the very good lighting and because of the hard work and effort I put into making this photo. I liked how the daylight sunshine complemented the plants and the bee. I also enjoyed capturing the bee on and off the plant even though it was very difficult never knowing where the bee was going to fly. I felt that even though it was blurred because of the multiple exposures it still shows the detail of the bee and plant allowing you to get the best realistic view of what the real life plant looked like. I also enjoyed the up-close of the bee and the "attention to detail" look it shows. When editing in Lightroom I didn't have to do much to edit so I adjusted the clarity as well as the color/exposure of the photo.

I took this photo at the beginning of the year when we were learning about compositional rules. I thought that the leading lines on this photo came out cool. I also really like the fact that it is on campus. I think it now symbolizes the ending of the school year and my high school years. I didn't manipulate it too much. I just added a black and white filter with a storm cloud preset. I also added some texture to the photo while making the shadows stand out more.

This is a photo of myself casually skating outside the Carlsbad mall performing an ollie off of about a 3 foot block. I love skating and have not been able to stop since I can remember, but this photo really makes me feel good about how far I've come with my progress and confidence in my skill.

I took this photo of my friend Marielle Elazegui while in the hallway during another project. I had just been taking photo of her for fun, but then I had somewhat run out of things to do for class so i had fun with it in Lightroom. I just started clinking buttons and messing with sliders and just seeing what looked good. This is just what came of that.
I messed with masking and made the background darker and not as clear to bring more attention to Marielle. I also made her brighter and put a blue filter over her to help make her pop a little; I also brought out the highlights more.

I chose this photo because I really had a lot of fun thinking about flat lay photography. This has been one of my favorite photographs because it shows my passion in dancing, how used my pointe shoes are. Although I did photoshop them to look more new I think the rush adds character.

This is my favorite photo of this year because I like the juxtaposition between the colored sky and black and white photo. It was just a photo I took at a random moment that I never intended to keep, but after editing, it became my favorite of the year.
