From the perspective of a 15 year old boy with autism, it was amazing. To have a book written not from a perfect character's perspective, but a quirky one gave the book life. It was realistic, and each character had their own personality. Even with the explicit language it gave each character more life then other books might have. Lastly, the plot was perfect. With the mix of mystery and drama, the story of Christopher finding out the truth was suspenseful and we never wanted to stop reading. The author had just enough secrets and hidden ideas to keep the reading wanting more and more. It was an amazing book and it kept us all wanting to read on to end. Even when the end came it wrapped up the story perfectly, and we knew everything was happy. The boos had a very different point of view because your looking through the eyes of a teenager with autism. Which added great things. The author also made the characters feel real and made the book more realistic. Some parts of the book though were kind of surreal. One thing our group would advise to you is, their is a lot of profanity. I feel as it does help the reader understand the characters, but If you are not mature enough it may not be the book for you. Another thing we did not admire was how they portrayed adults and teachers.
