<title>FIRST STEP: MY IDEA What am I going to create?Looking over the ideas that Onitze gave us, I thought that making a JAI ALAI basket would be very original. Since we can paint, cut and transform what we are going to find at the beach, I think it will be a good idea. After the trip to the beach I can always change my idea if what I find is not enough or cannot be transformed as I need. SECOND STEP: THE BEACH Since we live in Ondarroa, my first visit was to the Arigorri beach in Ondarroa. As you can see in the pictures Arrigorri is very clean. I walked around the whole beach and there was practically nothing. A lot of tree branches which I may use to make my basket, but no trash. The only trash I found was on my way back home on the side of the road very close to the beach. Second stop, Saturran beach. Since the idea is beach trash I had to try another beach. But no luck at all, the second beach as clean as the first. The only improvement here is that I found little rocks to make my colleague. But still no trace in order to make my Jai alai cesta from the trash.THIRD STEP: decision I have to decide what to do now. Can I make a marine debris art project from natural found things, or do I have to make something with all the plastic bottles that I have found….</title>

<title>FIRST STEP: CleaningThe trash I have found is all very dirty. The first thing I have to do is clean the bottles in order to manipulate them because they are extremly dirty. I prepared a bucket with soap, water and a little bit of bleach. Pored wáter in the bucket with the soap and wáter and cleaned every thing one by one with a sponge.Afterward I dried them all, putting them on a towel and letting them dry for a couple of minutes. </title>

<title>What do I need? What type of glue should I use in order to paste together thematerials I found? The first thing I am going to try, is drawing the cesta on a piece of cardboard.Once I have the drawing done, little by little pour the glue inside and place thesmall previse cutted pieces over the glue and see if they stick together. I thinkthat between the contact glue and the hot glue I will be able to make my basketcollage.</title>

<title>The moment of truth, I have the different glues ready and I&#39;m going to start creating my art.I found a small old basket which fitted on the carboard poster and used it to draw out a silhouette of the basket.Once drawn, I had my base to start with gluing the plastic pieces that I have prepared one by one. The white glue looks like it&#39;s going to work together, paper and plastic paste correctly on the first attempt. Little by little I have been sticking everything one by one. I have put the glue on the paper with a brush and before it dries stick them one by one. Everything with patience and until finishing the drawing.</title>

<title>1.	Introduction: My blue plastic jai-alai basket, made from the trash found on my way to Ondarroa beach, on a sunny Saturday morning. Step 1: Since the beginning of my project, I have always been true to my idea of making a Jai-alai basket. I was not sure if the material found on the beach would be correct for my college but the idea was firm. Step 2: I understand that part of this project could have been focused toward cleaning up our beaches just before summer, but the reality was very different. Both beaches I went to were very clean. No garbage anywhere, in order to say something 2-3 little pieces of paper on the whole beach. After those first walks on the beach I had to think about something new. I had seen a lot of plastic bottles on my way to the beach, so that was going to be my solution. I finally picked up all the blue plastic bottles I saw from the beach to Calatraba bridge because that was the idea of the project.Step 3 and 4: Prepared all the pieces, cleaned the bottles in order to cut them afterwards. Prepared the cardboard and the glue and started and ended the art collage with little pieces of blue plastic I had found. I achieved my main goal. Zesta was made.5. The art exhibition in Zaldupe was a lot better than I thought. We explained our arts in teams, to grades 4 and 6. My sister was one of the viewers. My team members were Gurutz, Eneko, Alex, and me. We each explained as the students asked us about our art. I was very nervous at the beginning, but I think that we were able to show and explain what we had done. Finally, I have my plastic basket collage made from plastic bottles. The experience was very fun, I didn&#39;t think I would like an English project so much. The walks to the beaches on a sunny Saturday morning with my mother, and two Sunday afternoons cutting the plastic bottles and gluing them over and over again. I must say that I had a very good time working on my art. In my opinion, we have been able to show everybody that if you think about an idea, you can make pretty things from garbage. Look at my plastic zesta it&#39;s beautiful, as well as all the art projects that my classmates have made.</title>
