The emotional learning lesson plan I created is meant to teach first-grade students about what emotions are and the healthy ways we can display them. Students will learn the right and wrong ways to showcase their feelings.

The most challenging part about implementing this lesson would be teaching them emotional regulation. Because they are only in the first grade, their first instinct is to act on their emotions immediately. Controlling how we display our feelings is a learned behavior that comes with time and maturity.
