When you say you “like like” someone that usually has a romantic connotation. Just saying you like someone can go either way.

When I get home, I usually sit at the kitchen table and talk with my mom for an hour or so. Sometimes if everyones in the mood we will play little games when we play.I really enjoy it because we aren't always home all at the same time so for dinner it's the time we get to talk to everyone. I think la sobremesa is a tradition in many countries because it gives the group a chance to kick back, which is nice after a long meal.

3. There are three phrases that express platonic or romantic attraction that people in my life use. One of them being "I have a crush on..." used to describe romantic attraction exclusively, and "I like.." or "I love.." that can be used to describe friendship or romance.

If I am meeting someone new I give a handshake and say "hi nice to meet you". When I am saying goodbye again always a hug and a kiss but if i had meet someone new and when I am saying goodbye i will just give a side hug. When I am saying hi to friends I will just give a hug! Both my sides of the family Spanish culture greeting! It says we are all welcoming and friendly when it comes to seeing each other or new people. When it's just family we all miss each other so we really want to show our appreciation towards everyone

During celebration yes we will all sit at the table and talk but every night when it's just the people who are in the house we go our separate ways. Like I said however during the celebrations everyone continues to sit at the table and talk about everything, it's always screaming and yelling off the table. I feel that Spanish cultures do this because it's a way to really appreciate all is happening. Even though everyone is there to share food they want to show more appreciation for what they have in the moment as well.

If you like someone you can say "like like" or "love" when it comes to romantic or relationship. When you like someone like a friend you could say "that's my best friend, i love him or her"

To me , "it breaks the ice".
- I think that greetings in Spanish speaking countries are very significant, and are expressed with deep morals and gratitude like here in America.
Enfoque Cultural 2
- In my family, after we finish our meals, we chat, and gossip about many topics for about 20-25 minutes. Its like bonding time for us.
- Just like here in America, Spanish Speaking countries let this custom continue, because it helps families bond together, and it celebrates the
meaning of family time.
Enfoque Cultural 3
- Their are different ways to distinguish the differences between liking someone as a friend, family member, or to associate it with being romantically attracted to someone. When we say things like "like you" or "love you" most of the time that means as a friend. People usually make it obvious when they are attracted to someone. They'll say things like " I'm into you", "I got a crush on you", or " I like.. like you". Or to phrase the person as your "girlfriend" or "boyfriend".
