From the first time they met, his father having hair and the son not. To now the father not having hair and the son having a lot! Throughout the story, the phrase "you are perfectly designed" is repeated throughout the story; in the good days and the bad days; through strong emotions and getting older.

Karamo Brown wrote this story with his son Jason. The mantra he taught his son was "I am perfectly designed," so he would feel empowered and secure in himself. Specifically though, I would read this book to preschool aged children up through 4th grade. I love the central message of this story and feel younger students and children will be able to connect with the son due to his younger age.
