Because they're a group of fish, this is classified as schooling, where they swim, eat, and travel together.  Because they are in such a large group, they are less likely to be preyed upon, therefore increasing they're chances of survival.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe social behaviors holds several benefits for species.  For example, one benefit is improved protection from predators.  Because a group is more difficult to attack than a singled-out organism, a predator will be less likely to feed on them.  Also, certain behaviors attract mates for reproduction.  This kind of behavior allows the organism to reproduce and maintain the population of its species.  Finally, social behaviors improve chances in competition.  An improvement in competition means better chances at surviving.  Without a doubt, social behaviors provide several benefits to a species' survival</div>]]></description>
