Why I'm taking this class

I decided to take this class due to my interests and future. I decided to attend San Joaquin Delta College since it was not only affordable, but also it has a great nursing program. This is important since I plan to become a registered nurse plus this class is required for said program. But beyond that, I genuinely want to learn more about and understand society in general. How and why it is the way it is, what helped shape it, etc. In short, I'm taking this class to help further my career and education.
