The Department of Forestry's mission is to protect and develop healthy, sustainable forest resources for Virginians. My favorite value of theirs is exceeding customer expectations by delivering
quality products and services in a response, professional manner. I like this because it shows they take joy in doing reliable and quality work. My favorite goal of theirs is supporting a strong forest economy by ensuring a productive
and sustainable resource, and promoting diverse markets for Virginia’s forest products. I like the idea of creating resources that can continually be harvested.

The department of Forestry manages forests. They make sure trees are healthy and keep track of the inventory. They also track and combat invasive species.

The job I found most interesting was being a forester. I liked the idea of keeping invasive species in check and tracking them, it is almost like a battle. It also seems nice to do something different every week.

It interested me that Robert can bring his sawmill wherever he needs to. Looks seems fun to cut logs in an alley one day and a forest the next. It also makes thing more convenient for customers, which could improve business.
