Ubicada en el campus urbano del MIT, a orillas del rio Charles. Entre la edificación y el rio se encuentra la principal arteria de trafico de la ciudad. A pesar del entorno ruidoso, Aalto se esforzó en optimizar las condiciones haciendo que la fachada que se habría al sur y daba al rio adoptara una forma curva.
