         <description><![CDATA[<div>The emperor had the highest rank in Japan, but he was just an image. The real ruler was the shogun who was the supreme military commander. Third were the Samurai warriors. Peasants and artisans followed after, and merchants were at the bottom, but slowly became more important for Japan later on.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The converting to christianity didn't sit well with the shogun, so he later banned christianity. This caused many uprisings and rebels to form. The shogun and samurais ended up killing all of them and drove the missionaries out.</div>]]></description>
