We had planned to get numerous following shots of the runners both from a frontal angle and from the side, and we discussed that in order to avoid making our film look like yet Television stream, zoomed in tracking shots will have to be mixed with close up gimbal shots that bring the audience much closer to the action.

We were very time efficient with the filming as we had discussed all the different directions that the actors must follow beforehand, and also had a chance to experiment with the different camera angles during the previous week. We came into the filming days prepared and therefore, it did not take up that much time. 
On the second day (photo above) we often had a two, or even three, camera set up which meant I had to be in charge of one of them. In addition, me and Pedro also took turns to record and supervise the audio recording.
