Then practice the "No means NO" method. It may take a few tries before this actually works. If your kiddo is asking (or crying) for something they should not have, do not cave in. Be firm on the no. If your kiddo misbehaves and they lose a priviledge for a day, do not cave in no matter how much they suck up to you. Let them know that No means NO early on to avoid future headaches and temper tantrums. This method has been tested and approved on 22 children (2 of those 22 children are mine).

PBS Kids programs like Super Why, Sesame Street, Cyber Chase, and Word World are all great programs to give your kiddo a kick start into reading, storytelling, emotional intelligence, and math!

2. Bring baby nail clippers to the hospital- I was clipping nails day 1 after for both of my kids after they were born (the nurses won't do it for you) because their nails were long and they were scratching their faces
3. Kids and babies always seem to get sick at night- have a little medical station that is easy to get to (i.e. thermometer, infant Tylenol, after hours nurses line for your pediatrician if they have one, etc.). The first time your little one gets sick you will may be a nervous wreck and it's nice to have all those things easily accessible when the time comes.

2. Allow the baby to sleep by themselves with a close eye whenever possible. It's not only safer but also allows you to have time to move around and get other tasks done.
3. Save items that can be washed and scrubbed for more kids or donations.
4. Schedule time for yourself. As Moms, we forget that!
5. If you feel like you need to go to the doctor, go. Mother's intuition is everything!
6. Don't let anyone pressure you into anything. Do what you feel is best for you and your baby. Some babies breastfeed and some babies like the bottle more. Remember the healthy baby is the goal!
7. Find your tribe! Family and friends are great, but a Mom tribe is everything.

Being a working mother takes so much strength (and sanity lol). You are an amazing person and will raise a child as beautiful and amazing as yourself.
