The author of a writing has to follow a sequence of steps to create thier own story. But first they have to start with imagaination. For My assignment, I would create a frame work for a process. For example, how to brush your teeth, is a topic, and students would have to write step by step how they brush their teeth, and illustrate it.

The 6+1 Trait could go over, Organizational and Ideas.

This beautifully illustrated book encourages children to nurture their ideas and embrace creativity, which is the first step in the writing process.

For a writing lesson, I could give students a topic to draw about, and adding details as they please. After drawing, students can write what their illustration was showing.

Students can create a brainstorm jar, where they list things that they'd like to write about or things that they like. For exapmple, Pirates, dogs, cats, trees, plants, planets, etc.

A draft template can be handed to students to help them start thier writing process, by filling in the blanks, and using trasnitions.

First, students can collectively correct a wrong setnce (on a power point), whether puncuations, capitlization, spelling, etc. After writing their story students can be walked through the process of revsising thier writing.

You can use this book to implement things you like, scare you, and excite students in thier writing.

it could be incorparted into a science class by using cause and effect scenarios.

The students will be given an ourline for writing a letter, write one. Then students will be taught how to address an envelope and package their letter to send off.
