In my case, I have been teaching English since 2023. I have been with people since 4 years old until people with 25 years old. All of these experiences have been completely different. Therefore, I had had to apply different type of strategies in order to catch their attention and interest for learning English. One the methods for correcting students I had used with kids is rephrasing because they tend to repeat after you so they correct what they have said before. On the other hand, with teenagers which are my current students, I often use "Giving options" and "Metalinguistic clue" and I really love these two because it helps students to realize what they have done incorrectly. Finally, with adults, I have used "Elicitation" so in that way I let them to finish with the point I want them to correct.


Event though I have mentioned those ones. I really like that we have a variety of error correction techniques. (as teachers)
